With a strong financial background and commitment toward fiscal responsibility, Sterley has made it his mission to keep property taxes minimal while retaining services to our residents, our superior bond rating, and our award-winning Blue Ribbon Schools.
Councilman Stanley is a financial expert. As president of Fox Meadow Condominium Association, he paved the way for fiscally responsible management and cost containment. He has spent his career as a small business owner and working in the financial industry, where he has gained invaluable experience on smart budgeting and long-term fiscal planning. Councilman Stanley has brought that skill set to responsible governance.
Sterley was a trustee of the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church in East Brunswick, where he has focused on community outreach programs to benefit our residents. His children all have attended East Brunswick Public Schools. Coupled with his service to the Fox Meadow Condo Association, Stanley certainly knows East Brunswick.
Councilman Stanley takes pride in the diverse community of East Brunswick that we all call home. He is proud that the East Brunswick Police Department is well ahead of the curve when it comes to community outreach programs and being respectful and trusted by our residents. During his past 4 years as councilman, Sterley has worked to rebuild a strong relationship with the men and women at the Police Department in order to be united in reaching the shared goals for the betterment of our community.
Sterley, along with his colleagues, has researched and implemented shared service agreements to help lower the financial burden to our residents. The township council has been in meetings with school administration and the Board of Education to assess the possibilities of shared services in additional areas.
